I joined Hannah McDonald, Events and Engagement Officer for the Royal Society of Musicians, at Trinity Laban in Greenwich today, to promote the work of the Society at this year’s Freshers’ Fair being held in the main reception area of the Creekside building.
Other stands included representatives from the Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra and the Odyssey Festival Orchestra, while it was a pleasure to catch up with Simeon Scheuber-Rush, London Regional Officer for the Musicians’ Union.
We had a very enjoyable few hours meeting the students, however the majority were on music theatre and dance courses, and next year we agreed it would be worthwhile discovering if there was a more musician-focused event that the RSM could attend.
