The MU Members’ Handbook is now in its 16th year having been introduced in 2005 and is recognised within the industry as a key publication for working musicians. The new 84 page edition is being dispatched to all MU members this week, with a scheduled landing date of Wednesday, 22nd January.
The Handbook contains an introduction to our teams; our UK-wide contact details; an outline of our services; legal FAQs; plus the member-facing terms and conditions for our various insurance schemes; along with the MU Rules that came into effect following Conference last July.
Going forward, we are encouraging members to find the latest career advice and the Tax Savings Guide – which collectively formed the heart of previous handbooks – online.
A single page pdf file version of the book is available and members are encouraged to contact the Union should they require any of the contents in other formats for accessibility purposes.
