My thanks to Dot Levine of UK Music for the invitation to join their lively festive Comms Group lunch event at The Groucho Club in Soho this afternoon. My table included Lynne McDowell of the BPI, Guardian journalist Lexy Topping, Jonathan Morrish and Nazneen Nawaz from PPL, Will Lines from the MPA, and Sony’s Paul Burshe. Thanks also go to Paul Scaife and Liz Stokes from Record of the Day, BASCA’s Darren Haynes plus Olivia Chapman and Gill Corish of PRS for Music, for making the event so enjoyable both at Groucho’s, as well as afterwards at the bar of the Soho Hotel and Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s.
