My thanks to Sue Harris of the respected Republic Media PR for the invitation to catch the UK launch this evening of singer, songwriter and pianist Judith Owen’s latest album, Somebody’s child, at Dave Stewart’s Hospital Club in Covent Garden. Judith was joined by a supremely professional supporting cast that boasted legendary bassist Leland Sklar, cellist Gabriella Swallow & percussionist Pedro Segundo among others. Entertaining the audience with Stateside-style introductions and asides, Judith performed an emotional series of songs and received a rapturous reception.
