A highly enjoyable afternoon courtesy of Julie, who kindly had bought tickets for us to ‘Witness for the Prosecution‘ at the County Hall on the Southbank. The former London council chamber made a perfect setting for the drama, an Agatha Christie classic, with its plot twists and turns.
We then strolled along the riverside to be serenaded by members of the wonderful Paraorchestra in full blast! Marvellous. (Pictured).
On passing the Royal Festival Hall we dropped into the classic Skyline restaurant and bar, where we appreciated a lengthy mix of dinner and cocktails. As I am in a no-alcohol month, I stuck determinedly to the mock variety!
Thanks Julie, it was a lovely day.
