Remastering

Remastering

Another decisive day with producer Greg Fitzgerald in Canterbury as we explored the options for delivering my album from the 1990s, Birdcage, as a sister release for the forthcoming vinyl release, Waterloo Sunrise.

Of the twelve tracks available in digital and tape format, we swiftly agree that ten simply require mastering using the latest software loaded on Greg’s system.

Of the remaining two, the ballad ‘Cross of Gold’ simply needs one tweak to the coda, while it’s the uptempo ‘Radio Play’ that needs the most attention to bring it up to speed and ready for filing in the album’s running order.

The valuable work continues.
