I spent a rewarding weekend working at the London Bass Guitar Show at Olympia with my colleagues Dave Webster and Neil Wright. We met numerous members of the Union plus many aspiring bass players looking to develop their careers. Former Stray Cat Lee Rocker tore up the main stage with dynamic versions of rockabilly classics, plus led a masterclass in stage craft and musicianship in the company of guitarist Buzz Campbell. Session bass legend Mo Foster dropped by to say hello on Saturday, while Peter Hook (Joy Division and New Order) contributed to our signature board on Sunday.
