Kingston kicks

I spent an enjoyable  afternoon visiting Kingston. Firstly dropping into Printstore where designer Steve Ames was ready to assist in creating “Musicians’ Passport” images for our promo materials ahead of the impending party political conferences.

Having successfully crafted draft images for a series of postcards and boards for use in photographs with MPs on our stand at both the Labour and Conservative events, I then drove the short distance to the studio of Jim Hawkins for a catch-up.

We discussed how his numerous projects were progressing and I related my experiences at the songwriting camp in July and my speculative hope to visit Nashville next summer to work with local songwriters.
