Alongside photographer Jonathan Stewart, I caught harmonica ace and BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Best Musician nominee, Will Pound last night with his excellent line up of guitarist Chris Sarjeant, fiddler Henry Websteron plus Nizlopi bassist and beatboxer, John Parker.
The venue, the Green Note in Camden provided superb surroundings in which to take in the enthralling mix of English, Irish & bluegrass tunes. Total credit to support act Bennett, May and Chalmers, with Jo May on spoons and percussion who showed their wide-ranging skill and potential.
