Choir at Wembley

Rock Choir provided an impressive part of the build-up to today’s Saracens v Harlequins rugby match at Wembley today.

My wife Julie sings with the Bromley contingent who joined a number of entertaining elements prior to kick off, including a Pride in Unity march around the pitch, Noasis who played some of Oasis’ most popular songs, Marshall King as an Vegas-era Elvis, Shanay Holmes (as Whitney Houston) and Paul Bacon as the Ultimate Elton. At half time, the Choir performed once more before London 2012 Olympic Gold medalist Greg Rutherford took part in a ‘Catch a million’ challenge in aid of Sport Relief. The game itself was a quiet affair with Saracens running out easy winners, 39-17.
