The golf-playing community of the music industry enjoyed a superb day at Bearwood Lakes GC, Berkshire, thanks to the excellent hospitality of PPL and PRS for Music. Teeing off this morning into the mist, the teams of four tackled the fine course and I joined a foursome captained by PPL’s Head of Comms Jonathan Morrish, plus the entertaining pairing of Brian Berg (fomer president of Universal Music Enterprises) and John Craig OBE (Governor of the Brit School and Grammy winner). We came second, just pipped on countback by the team led by PPL CEO, Peter Leathem.
