MPG by the River

MPG by the River

A pleasant evening courtesy of the Music Producers’ Guild at the BFI, The Riverfront on the Southbank. Their summer event certainly attracted an enthusiastic crowd from across the industry and it was heartening to catch up with Kevin Brennan MP, Vincent Moss of UK Music, producer Olga Fitzroy, Paul Scaife of Record of the Day and Cathy Mulloy of The Ivors Academy. My thanks to MPG Executive Director Cameron Craig for the invitation and excellent hosting.

The Music Producers Guild is supported by producers, mixers, recording engineers, re-mixers and programmers who are passionate about all aspects of making and recording music. It is a not-for-profit company and is run by volunteers from the membership. The Members’ Directory is accessible to the public and features the profiles of some of the MPG full members, whilst the Studio Membership section features the profiles of its studio members.

The Guild’s aims are to support members in their careers, campaign for the rights of music industry workers, promote diversity within the industry and to celebrate the achievements of its members through their annual MPG Awards.
