Photographer Jonathan Stewart and I had a very relaxing and entertaining evening in the company of Mitch Dalton and the Studio Kings as they played a set of stunning instrumentals at the Dean Street jazz club in Pizza Express, Soho. Jonathan unobtrusively captured the four-piece in action with guitarist and frontman Mitch, keyboard maestro Dave Arch, session bassist supreme Steve Pearce, and ace drummer Ian Thomas all in top form. Our huge thanks to Mitch for the passes and the whole band for the masterclass in British session playing.
