During the Labour Party Conference I was asked to assist with arranging a CSF Evening Reception at Lancaster House FCDO, Stable Yard, London SW1 and tonight I was delighted to attend the event itself in the very salubrious surroundings of St James’s.
I had booked a top class instrumental trio consisting of Joe Thompson on piano/keys, Robert Rickenberg on double bass, and Sophie Alloway on drums. The group proved particularly popular with the guests and my thanks to them for their professionalism.
I also send my thanks to Peter Wilson, Director General Europe at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, plus Marzena Bujalska (Deputy Head | Communications & Engagement | EU Directorate) and Phil Derisi (Policy Adviser – Engagement – Business & Civil Society | EU Directorate).
