Burton Bradstock

Folk/jazz artist Burton Bradstock launched his debut album tonight to a packed audience at the Pizza Express, Dean Street, Soho. The release is an intriguing mix of traditional English folk song from the early to mid-nineteenth century, gentle melodic jazz and innovative vocal styling.  Accompanied by a very classy band consisting of pianist Dorian Ford, drummer Tim Giles, guitarist Rod Updegraff and stand-in double bassist Julian Bury, singer/interpreter Burton led the group through a bewitching performance of the complete track listing of ‘All upon a lovely summer’s day’.
