I attended the Jazz in the House event at the Terrace Pavilion, House of Commons, on behalf of the MU last night, with my colleague Dave Webster. Hosted by the Parliamentary Jazz Appreciation Group with co-chairs Michael Connarty MP and Lord Colwyn, the event highlighted the launch of the The London Jazz Festival. The Festival has long been acclaimed for ‘showcasing a top class mix of talent and is widely acknowledged for delivering world-class artists and emerging stars, by continuing to take jazz to a massive audience.’ Check out future Radio3 schedules for live performances.
