Jazz singer and business mentor Sarah Eyden hosted her first networking session this afternoon, at Brown’s, St Martin’s Lane. A valuable opportunity to meet aspiring musicians and small business entrepeneurs. My thanks to Sarah and everyone I met, especially David Brooks, perhaps best known for playing keyboards with Gary Numan.
Following the engaging introductions, exchanges and advice, I strolled along Long Acre and into Great Queen Street where I spied the plaque marking the site where the Football Association was founded in 1863. I also noted the plaque at number 4 highlighting the former site of the legendary Blitz Club. The launch pad for many a New Romantic!
