I joined my nephew Steve Ames and drummer/vocalist John Park at Bush Hall this evening for a night of music by Prefab Sprout presented by band member Martin McAloon, brother of the group’s leading light Paddy. Martin is a humble and engaging character and introduced himself by saying: “I wish to make it clear that I am neither a singer, nor a guitarist, and I am not my brother!” He boldly delivered a comprehensive set of purely Prefab originals, which received a  rapturous reception from the delighted faithful:
