The MU hosted a stand at the London Drum Show at Olympia again this year, an event for which we were pleased to arrange discounted entry for all MU members. The event proved very popular, with the exhibition floor regularly packed with drummers, percussionists and student players. There was a series of masterclasses, seminars and workshops over the two days in addition to the usual equipment demos and special offers. The MU stand personnel were kept busy and my thanks go to my colleagues John Shortell, Alex Mann and Mark Hopkinson of Hencilla Canworth who withstood the twenty minutes of frenetic playing by show visitors for twenty minutes every hour!
