A fun evening in Manchester playing indoor junkyard golf with MU colleagues from across the UK. We played the Bozo course and I completed the gently challenging nine holes in a respectable 23 shots. Whilst I registered the lowest individual score of the night, I believe the team’s overall total was bettered by the impressive record of Dave Webster’s team.
We had gathered in the city for an MU away day at the Holiday Inn, Aytoun Street, with a busy agenda covering the Union’s forthcoming Freelance Fightback campaign; the Diversity on MU Committees; the proposed Members’ Assembly; plus Staff Development & Training. It was great to see everyone, many for the last time in light of my imminent retirement.
