Theme recording

Theme recording

A relaxed session with Greg at the studio today, as we compiled the closing title theme for the album, Waterloo Sunrise. This involved selecting parts from both the completed tracks and from the solos delivered by our marvellous team of session players. Making the final one-minute cut were the strings of Pete Winfield, the cello of Simon Turner, the flugelhorn horn of John Thirkell, the violin of Chris Haigh and the atmospheric mandola of Abdelkader Saadoun. Once edited these dovetailed delightfully with the sound effects of mystery man, Chip Peacock. Delighted with the outcome.
