At least once a year, the Communications & Government Relations Dept of the MU take time out to share an ‘awayday’ and undertake a pastime close to one of our hearts. Last year it was Isabelle’s turn and she introduced us to horse riding. This year it was my turn, hence our meeting up at the Golf Range on Addiscombe Road in Elmers End!
There are now five in the Dept: Isabelle, Maddy, Autumn, Katerina and myself and full credit the team, as everyone took up the challenge with gusto. Firstly, a session in the range bays hitting irons (and on occasion, woods), followed by a keenly-contested putting competition at the neighbouring 18 hole Adventure Golf.
The day was rounded-off by a very pleasant lunch at My Place in Beckenham High Street. I wonder where we will be heading to next?!
