MP4 Reception

I was invited by the world’s premier parliamentary rock band MP4 (Cardiff West MP Kevin Brennan, Rt Hon Sir Greg Knight MP, Pete Wishart MP and former Labour MP Ian Cawsey), to a reception this evening to celebrate their ten years of fund raising in the State Rooms of the Speaker’s House at the House of Commons.

Held by the kind permission of Mr Speaker, The Rt Hon John Bercow MP, I met his wife Sally and their children, producer Robin Millar and his partner, Orange supremo Cliff Cooper, Yamaha’s Charles Brozon and Mark Rolfe, plus Tony Moore (who sang ‘I just died in your arms tonight’ with the band), and Rock the House winners Crewe-base band The Hex and 14 year old Leoni Jane Kennedy from Blackpool, both of whom performed superbly in the palatial and historic surroundings.
