My wife Julie and I had a very enjoyable evening in the West End this evening, which included dropping into Punch and Judy in Covent Garden for an aperitif, dinner at Joe Allen‘s new premises at 2 Burleigh St, WC2 and cocktails at the Radio Rooftop Bar on the 10th floor of the ME Hotel in the Aldwych.
It was the first time we had dined at Joe Allen’s in its new home and we were fortunate to obtain a table during their preview period prior to the main opening in September. Radio offered superb views over the City and the West End, with the atmosphere enhanced by the resident DJ and musicians. A memorable night.
