I met up with highly-respected producer and long-term friend James Reynolds in Battersea last night, as we joined over 1,400 guests at the Music Week Awards at Evolution London.
The Awards represents companies and executives from across the music industry and delivers 24 hotly-contested categories. The BPI was this year’s headline sponsor with the UK recorded music trade body marking its 50th anniversary this year.
BBC Radio 1 presenter Vick Hope took on the presenting duties for this year’s ceremony and she began the ceremony by acknowledging the career and life of Tina Turner, whose death was announced shortly before the awards.
