I organised the MU stand at this year’s Acoustic Guitar show, which was staged once again by Blaze Publishing at its established home in west London’s Olympia. The event boasted a stellar line-up of Nile Rodgers, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford of Squeeze, James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers and Newton Faulkner who were amongst an array of excellent artists on the Olympia main stage. Thus year also saw the launch of Electric Live and the addition of an entire second exhibition floor dedicated to electric axes. My thanks to my MU colleagues Dave Webster and Isabelle Gutierrez, plus sterling support from Mark Hopkinson of insurers Hencilla Canworth for their unstinting efforts over the two days.
