I was invited by Name PR’s Sam Shemtob to the launch of LGM Records at the Groucho Club in Soho this evening. The event had attracted a bustling throng of media and arts people and the main room for the event was packed.
Photographer Jonathan Stewart gamely attempted to take some pictures of the featured acts, however the tiny stage and limited lighting thwarted his efforts somewhat! (I should highlight that photography is usually banned in Groucho’s). Artists on the label, based at 52 Tottenham Court Road, include Munro Fox, Mono Club, Goldheart Assembly, and Jo Goes Hunting. It was a pleasure to meet Ian Dench, formerly of EMF, in the club bar following his very enjoyable headlining performance.
