Julie, Ben and I enjoyed a wonderful day in the stunning grounds of Swarling Manor, Canterbury, Kent for the wedding of Greg Fitzgerald and Jennie Griffiths.
I have known Greg, a highly-respected producer, for over thirty years from when we lived in the same house in Pierrepoint Road, Ealing Common, in the early 1990s. Following the very sad passing of his first wife Paola in 2015, it is truly heartening for him to found new love with Jennie.
Attending the intimate service were Greg’s mother Marisa; Jennie’s parents Jeff and Janet; bridesmaids Caroline Lowe and Emily Bellussi Fitzgerald; best man Matt Gluck; plus ushers David Vernon, Alessandro Paler and Solomon Bellussi Fitzgerald. Emotional readings were given during the service by Sarah Blanchard and Dorna Djenab.
We shared a table at the reception with music executive Graham Stokes and his wife Helen, plus videographer Josh Holland and his partner Fern Lulham. A special day.
