The MU’s stand at this year’s Drum Show at Olympia proved a hive of activity and reflected the success of the sold-out event. I joined my colleagues Dave Webster and Alex Mann in meeting many well-known and acclaimed players from the world of drumming and percussion over the weekend, including Ralph Salmins, Ash Soan, Nick Mason, Neal Wilkinson and Robin Guy to name just a few, plus numerous members and students. Our thanks go to Blaze Publishing, the Show organisers, for their unstinting efforts and to ProMedia for assisting in the siting and building of our modular stand.
