Photographer Jonathan Stewart and I attended a soundtrack session this afternoon for Big Eyes, the Tim Burton film scheduled for release in August, at George Martin’s Air Lyndhurst studios in Belsize Park. The music, composer by Burton’s regular music partner, Danny Elfman, was performed by a top team of British musicians put together by fixer Isabel Griffiths. The production and management had kindly allowed us to take pictures for use in MU communications and my thanks go to everyone involved, who made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating in permitting Jonathan to be present in the studio throughout the session.
