Bad luck for Ben at his Saturday morning football training at Club Langley. Right at the end of the session he very bravely attempted to save a penalty kick fired hard at him, but this clearly hurt his wrist and arm. Although it was thought at first that he hadn’t damaged himself, a visit today to A&E at Princess Royal Hospital in Locksbottom and the subsequent X-ray showed he had fractured his arm just below the wrist. Cue a plaster cast and cancellation of his many sporting activities for some weeks to come!
