Congratulations to everyone involved in making the music elements of today’s march and rally such a success. In particular, the bands put together by Byron Wallen, Frank Griffith and Barak Schmool to accompany the unions on the march from Embankment through Whitehall, plus the superb performances by Surianne, Natalie McCool and the Dhol Blasters on the stage at Hyde Park. Many thanks to the TUC team and the stage management for making the event run seamlessly, plus kudos to Mark Batchelor for his valuable help in transporting equipment and instrument cases across town.
