Ben and I have spent a few rewarding days volunteering for Crisis over Christmas. He worked in the organisation’s main warehouse in Canning Town, helping to unload deliveries of the donated supplies and to load vans with the supplies required in the various guest centres across town. Whilst I was a driver delivering to the centres in Pimlico, Docklands, Aldgate, or on occasion bringing back items to the warehouse for redistribution.
Our thanks to everyone we worked alongside and we both look forward to working for Crisis again in the coming months.
