After a couple of days signing off the summer issue of The Musician magazine at Future Fusion’s offices in Bath, I drove this morning to Cumberwell Park Golf Course, where my friends Neil and Sarah Davies had helped to organise a charity golf day in aid of Dorothy House Hospice Care and Bath Cancer Unit Support Group.
A very entertaining four-ball round ensued – involving the combination of yellow and red nines – followed by an enjoyable dinner and auction, which raised a significant amount for the causes. I returned home with a bottle of Jack Daniels in a customised guitar case, a gift which will be welcomed by my wife Julie!
