Ace session guitarist Adam Goldsmith joined Jim Hawkins and myself at Jim’s studio in Kingston this afternoon to record both electric (Fender Strat) and acoustic guitar (Martin) parts for ‘Between these walls’, the country ballad written by Jim and myself. A highly enjoyable three hours passed quickly, with Adam’s ultra-professionalism and skill ensuring the creation of a considerable number of lead phrases, many of which will add flavour and integrity to the finished track.
