Abbey Road visit

Dropped in on Jim Hawkins directing a series of recording sessions at Abbey Road yesterday. In the company of Senior Recording Engineer, Simon Rhodes, Jim conducted a number of groups from Rock Choir in the largest purpose-built recording space in the world, Studio 1, as the team captured versions of several chart classics.  Another highlight of the visit included being able to take in the historic atmosphere of Studio 2, forever associated with The Beatles, and marvel at the instruments and equipment on show. The display included a great array of pianos, organs and a celeste used by the Fab Four.  A rare treat.
