Ben and I could be found at Sunningdale Golf Club in Ascot today, attending the second day of the ISPS Handa Senior Open. We were blessed with glorious sunshine throughout and as the event is not as popular as The Open itself, we took advantage of some excellent sites at tees and greens to watch the professionals at close quarters.
We chose to mostly follow the trio of Padraig Harrington, KJ Choi and Steven Alker, plus caught a number of famous names in action at various points around the world class inland course. Namely, Colin Montgomerie, Fred Funk, Retief Goosen, Paul Broadhurst, YE Yang, Justin Leonard, Jeff Sluman, Ian Woosnam and Jose Maria Olazabal.
