I caught the train back from Manchester this morning, in good time to make the legendary annual drinks party hosted by PPL. This year the event found a new home in Park Row, Brewer Street, Soho. The upbeat atmosphere hadn’t changed though and the spacious basement venue was soon filled with laughter and stories galore. Always good to catch up with the regulars, including PPL CEO Peter Leathem OBE, Chair John Smith OBE, MU Chair Alex Gascoine, journalist Mark Sutherland and to meet new contact Jonathan Arendt.
