A fun evening in Soho in the company of Mark Batchelor as we shared a curry at the Delhi Brasserie and dropped in at Ronnie Scott’s following an invitation to the Cuban music night being held in the Upstairs’ bar.
It was a pleasure to catch up with vocalist Luisa Santiago and to meet members of the band during the evening, including ace bassist Ariel Cumbria. The dance floor was certainly packed and the room quickly warmed up to the Central American sounds and rhythms.
The compulsory coffee and cheesecake in Bar Italia followed before we faced the drive home. A classic London night out.
