I attended the annual TUC Communications Awards this evening at Congress House. The event was hosted by TUC President Mohammad Taj and sponsored by Warners Group Publications.
I gave a speech on behalf of the team of judges and commented upon the proliferation of comms channels and the increasing demands upon union comms teams from members, colleagues and the public. The range of work submitted for consideration had been impressive with the categories for Best Journal and Best Website proving particularly hard-fought.
