A boisterous evening in the basement of The Troubadour in Earl’s Court courtesy of Cue the Music. Relaxed networking amongst guests from the media and the arts kicked the evening into gear, before our musical host Mo Pleasure took to the small stage.
Mo has performed with Ray Charles, Earth, Wind and Fire, Roberta Flack and Michael Jackson. He introduced vocalist Vula Malinga of Basement Jaxx, who acted as MC, and the duo welcomed a series of performers who showcased original songs and film covers to the buzzing throng. Guitarist Dell Richardson (Osibisa), jazz vocalist Aubrey Logan, country star Katy Hurt, plus vocalists Emel Michael, Ruth Royall and Stella Charalambous all gave memorable performances and especially captured the hearts of the airline pilots and air stewardesses from New Orleans in the corner!
