The winter issue of The Musician journal is being distributed today and is set to arrive with all MU members this week. The latest issue, my 32nd as editor, highlights the launch of the MU campaign, Work Not Play, on the cover and details the aims of the campaign in the main feature. The contents include confirmation of John Smith’s re-election as General Secretary, interviews with guitarist Phil Manzanera and Natalie McCool, plus advice pieces on promoting your music via Twitter, a report on the Union’s work in equalities, the MU Live Music Kit and an orchestral profile of Northern Sinfonia.
