A superb day in town. Firstly, I met the wonderful Debbie Rogerson, music supervisor at the BBC, for a coffee in Great Titchfield Street. A couple of hours passed in a flash as we exchanged stories of music, musicians and the media.
I then strolled south through Soho, taking in Liberty London, the marvellous Mark Powell‘s suit centre in Newburgh Street, The Great Frog jewellery store in Canton Street and the Dr Marten’s shop in Carnaby Street.
Imagine my delight at then seeing the legendary Paul Weller on the corner of Brewer Street and Lower James Street. Great to be able to thank him for the all the great music and songs down the years.
