Rising start of the session vocalist scene, Sharleen Linton, joined Jim Hawkins and myself at his Chocolate Box studio in Kingston this afternoon to record her superb interpretative lead vocal on Ain’t Nothing So Bad. The song, co-written by Jim and myself in the style of sassy R’n’B divas, such as Paloma Faith and Ruby Turner, has already received positive feedback for its catchy topline and contemporary arrangement.
