A busy week on the PR front this week, with press releases being created and distributed to our media contacts on a range of subjects and news. These included the MU’s comments upon the draft plans for the BBC licensing fee, the Union’s support for Kier Starmer in the Labour leadership contest and our response to the PPL announcement of its record-setting collections on behalf of record companies and session players. A statement on the government’s consultation call for the National Plan for Music Education will also follow on Monday.
