Jools Holland

Wonderful to spend the evening with Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall as the band whipped up a storm in the company of numerous special guests, including Roland Gift, Ruby Turner and KT Tunstall. Highlights included 1980s’ classic Good thing, vocalist spots by Louise Marshall and solos by sax master Derek Nash. My very special thanks to keyboard player Chris Holland who arranged for the tickets and guest passes to the Artists’ Bar. It was also a pleasure to meet guitarist Mark Flanagan and Andy Wallace, keyboard player with the support act Nell Bryden.
