Photographer Jonathan Stewart and I travelled down to Haslemere this afternoon to capture photographs of bands performing at the local festival for the MU website and The Musician magazine.
A profile interview for the autumn issue with folk/prog band Moulettes is being set up and the group overcame inclement weather to both enhance their growing reputation and to entertain an appreciative Friday night crowd. Earlier, Bela Takes Chase and Le Born had delivered their superb guitar-led tunes and caught a soulful set from Stefan Redtenbacher and his funk outfit. A very enjoyable evening.
