Photographer Jonathan Stewart and I met Evelyn Glennie this morning at BBC Broadcasting House in Portland Place as Evelyn had kindly agreed for us to take some pictures of her for the MU gallery in her spare time between interviews for Midweek and Front Row.
We first took some shots on the steps of All Souls Church with the House in the background, before moving to be near the BBC’s main entrance where Jonathan felt the light and stone would be a perfect setting for further shots. A quick cab journey to King’s Cross meant we had time to capture some final frames outside PRS for Music at Two Pancras Square. A very enjoyable morning, which finished with a coffee in Leon’s. Our thanks to Evelyn for her willingness to be photographed and her delightful company.
