Another fine day at the annual PPL/PRS for Music Golf event, this time at Denham Golf Club in Buckinghamshire. My thanks for the invitation to PPL’s Peter Leathem and Nigel Elderton of PRS and to their administrative teams who ensured the day ran so smoothly.
I played in a four-ball with Jez Bell, John Myers and Nick Hartley and although we started fairly poorly as a team over the first few holes, we recovered to post an acceptable score of 72 Stableford better-ball points. We were blessed with delightful autumn sunshine throughout the morning and our round was followed by a superb lunch in the fine clubhouse. Looking forward to next year already!
