My son Ben completed his series of winter nets at the Kent County ground this evening in Worsley Bridge Road, Beckenham. Being the Easter weekend, the turnout was considerably lower than the 35 who usually attend the weekly sessions, however the boys and girls who could make it enjoyed a relaxed mix of bowling, fielding and batting exercises before closing with an exciting game. Ben caught the opposition’s opener out first ball! Our thanks, as ever, to Emyr and the team for the excellent coaching and support in recent months.
